About Me
Alan began his career at HSBC in 1989 and moved into financial advice in 1996. Initially providing mortgage advice, he quickly progressed into more senior roles, including Commercial Financial Planning Manager and ultimately High Net Worth Wealth Director. This experience gave him extensive knowledge across discretionary investments, retirement planning, inheritance tax mitigation, business protection and employee benefits.
Clients value Alan’s clear, jargon‑free communication and the trust built through long‑term relationships.
As an appointed representative of Intelligent Financial Advisory, he provides bespoke, whole‑of‑market solutions—selecting best‑in‑class investment platforms, pension strategies and financial products tailored to each client’s needs.
Outside of work, Alan is a keen swimmer, cyclist and runner. His greatest passion, as a qualified yacht skipper, is sailing holidays in the Mediterranean.
